“Our residents love using the Tiny Tablet for games, puzzles, jigsaw and quizzes.
Google maps allow them to take a virtual walk using the street view, down the streets they used to live at and see how things have changed.
We have seen the difference in our residents due to interactions with each other and the delight from the stimulation the tablet brings. We generally have residents who have been referred to us to rehabilitate from the hospital back to their home environments so the tablet helps with this.
Our staff have also benefited from the BNF app which is a requirement of all nursing homes that deal with medication. This can be quite costly when in book form as it needs to be updated annually, so that has been a great cost save for us.
We love the Tiny Tablet and have 2! One is currently in use and the other is on standby for our complex care unit.”
