“Very happy with our Touch Table and the service from Inspired Inspirations!
A couple of examples as the difference it’s making in our care home already:-
One resident lives on our top floor, he doesn’t usually do activities or engage in anything that we have tried previously. We took the Touch Table up, played Who Wants to be a Millionaire and the difference in him was astronomical. It lightened his mood, he was more chatty after and he engaged in it, where he doesn’t usually engage in anything. It has really helped his daily well being. I couldn’t believe that just doing a quiz on a large tablet would have this effect on someone with dementia who doesn’t usually engage.
Our resident ambassador Jean, who is in her 90s and not used to technology. She hosted arm chair travel using the Touch Table. She has dementia and the change in her demeanour and confidence was huge. She almost became a member of staff in the way she was getting other residents involved going to various places virtually across the world. There ended up being a group of 10 people all engaging in this wonderful exercise.
The delivery was also amazing, Brad who brought the Touch Table to us explained everything. He was really friendly in his approach and he’s very knowledgable.
